Learn, try, review

The Zero Point Learning System

Work with a real situation rather than just recall definitions. Examine what you intend, what you do, and the conditions around you. Try an adjustment, then review the action and its consequences.

Choose the practice that fits

Use Personal Practice for an ongoing observation routine, Pattern Mapping to develop a revisable account, and Integration to connect learning across daily situations. Choose a situational application when relevant. Advanced Study examines interacting patterns; Facilitator Training introduces ways to support another person without taking over their decisions.

Some lessons include saved exercise forms; others offer written activities for you to use in your own notes. A private log is not imported automatically. The Pattern Map organizes what you share, and AI Coaching is a separate conversation for examining a situation and a practical next step.

Core Pathway

Begin with Foundations, then Troubleshooting, Logic, and Return Training. These four courses are the preparation for a separate Live Coaching inquiry.

Free · 8 lessons

Zero Point Foundations

Covers: Examine intent, behavior and environment; observe intensity and return time separately from the consequences of a response.

Practice example: Use the Three Anchors Check to name an intent, an action, and conditions that support or obstruct it.

Start here. Eight current lessons form the completion sequence. Nine previous-edition readings and their learning records remain preserved.

Troubleshooting

Covers: Separate the event from a possible explanation, examine maintaining conditions, and test one feasible adjustment.

Practice example: One Variable Planner: name the change, what stays constant, an observation window, and what would count as evidence.

Suggested after Foundations; no prior-course completion is enforced.

Logic

Covers: Examine intent, evidence, assumptions, scope and proportion before choosing a response.

Practice example: Observation vs. Story: distinguish what you observed, what you inferred, and what else could be true.

Use alongside Troubleshooting when interpretations or decisions need checking.

Return Training

Covers: Prepare a response, notice a cue, and review what becomes possible under ordinary pressure.

Practice example: Review a difficult situation: what triggered it, your response, what happened next, and what to repeat or adjust.

Suggested after the other core curricula; speed alone is not a sufficient outcome.

Practice Workshops

Optional ways to work with repeated experiences, develop a revisable map, and bring the framework into daily situations.

Membership · 5 lessons

Zero Point Personal Practice

Covers: Build a manageable observation and review practice. Notice personal cues, test a response or change in conditions, and compare what happened over time. Use a brief log and weekly review to refine your understanding.

Practice example: Keep a brief return log: what mattered, what happened, when useful choice became available, what you did, and what followed.

Use alongside or after Return Training. Written activities stay where you record them; a private log is not imported automatically.

Zero Point Pattern Mapping

Covers: Build and revise a working account of one recurring situation. Compare cues, meanings, intentions, actions, conditions and consequences; check possible explanations; choose a point of change; and update the map when experience does not fit.

Practice example: Compare three occurrences and one that does not fit. Separate observations from interpretations and identify what would change your account.

Suggested after Troubleshooting, with Logic as a useful companion. This is guidance, not an access prerequisite.

Zero Point Integration

Covers: Apply the framework across daily situations. Practice using a prepared response, reviewing setbacks without self-punishment, changing conditions, agreeing on useful support, and checking what your actions make possible.

Practice example: Try one feasible change in space, timing, or an agreement. Review what became possible, who was affected, and whether repair is needed.

Optional capstone after the core pathway; not a fifth Live Coaching prerequisite.

Situational Applications

Choose an application when it fits your circumstances; these are not additional Live Coaching prerequisites.

Membership · 8 lessons

Communication at Zero Point

Covers: Explore language, tone, humor, social context and repair.

Practice example: Rupture Repair Review: describe a conflict, whether the response supported repair, and language that might help.

Optional application to conversations and relationships.

Gardening and Stewardship

Covers: Explore manageable garden tasks, design, shared responsibility and stewardship.

Practice example: Garden Regulation Check: identify conditions you find helpful and what blocks access to them.

Optional application to manageable garden tasks and shared responsibility; distinct from professional horticultural therapy.

Music as a Regulation Tool

Covers: Explore listening choices, context, sound, quiet and participation.

Practice example: Music State Check: compare what you reach for, what helps, and what makes the situation harder.

Optional application to personal listening and participation; distinct from professional music therapy.

Advanced Application

Optional deeper work with interacting patterns and changing conditions, after some practical experience.

Membership · 5 lessons

Zero Point Advanced Study

Covers: Examine patterns that overlap, change across contexts, or become entangled with self-description and the practice itself. Test explanations, decide what needs attention first, and adapt the next response without assuming one hidden cause.

Practice example: Compare interacting situations on paper: intent, action, conditions, immediate effects, later costs, and what remains unknown.

Interacting Patterns and Deeper Application. Suggested after practical experience, not a complete treatment of the book.

Supporting Others

Introductory facilitation practice: support another person's understanding and choices without imposing an explanation.

Membership · 5 lessons

Zero Point Facilitator Training

Covers: Learn introductory ways to support another person's reflection and practical choices: listen without imposing an explanation, ask useful questions, respond to corrections, offer appropriate options, and recognize the limits of your role.

Practice example: Rehearse a fictional exchange containing a correction, a request for advice, and a scope limit; check whether the person's choice remained their own.

Introductory Facilitation Practice. Personal familiarity with the core is useful; this course does not confer professional qualification or certification.

Foundations references and learning history

The current Foundations sequence remains eight lessons. Useful explanations from the original readings are incorporated where they help, with an optional Pattern Map orientation linked from the final lesson. All nine original lesson identities and existing progress remain preserved; reference readings do not create additional completion requirements.

Free, membership, and human coaching

Foundations is free. $20/month membership includes Foundations plus all eleven paid courses and additional app features—not four core additions on top of Free. Live Coaching with Chris is separate and requires Foundations, Troubleshooting, Logic, and Return Training before an in-app inquiry. The other eight courses are optional. AI Coaching remains independent.
